Sally Burr and Gail Ross live in Black Forest, Colorado and have been friends for the past twenty years. Both work as real estate appraisers and are active in the local Black Forest Arts and Crafts Guild. Sally and her husband, Bill, and Gail and her husband, Chuck, enjoy camping, fishing and outdoor activities in the mountains of Colorado.

Their children, Jennifer, Rebecca, Mike, Erin and B.J., have grown up together and Sally and Gail are now watching their grandchildren, Mikayla, Elise and Jayson, growing up in the Black Forest as well.
